Bonair Winery is situated in the heart of the Washington State Wine region called the Yakima Valley - the best growing region of the great desert called the Columbia Valley Wine Appellation. We produce big buttery Chardonnay, Reserve Chardonnay, elegant Cabernet Sauvignon, Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, some killer Merlot, and some nice blends, but we try not to take ourselves too seriously ("If we weren't all crazy we would go insane" - J. Buffett).
The winery produces about 6000 cases annually with production capacity to double that amount. We don't submit wine to self-appointed wine demigods, so you won't see us in their reviews. (Eat your heart out, Parker, you don't know what you are missing!) We do submit wines to local and national judgings and win medals on a regular basis.
We are only distributed in Washington State, but do ship to legal states.  Most of our award-winning wines are sold winery direct - just like in Europe.  We actually have vineyards (35 acres total) around the winery.  Wow, what is that all about?  I thought  all wineries in Washington were in industrial parks or in Quonset huts at airports.

How to order Wine: Since alcohol cops cruise the web to set up sting operations for fun and political gain and since state regulations are constantly changing, please use the following procedure for ordering wine. Check Current releases for the price and availability of the wine. Then call toll-free 800.882.8939 to place your order. Allow 10% discount for 6 bottles and 15% discount for 12. (Six bottles cost almost as much to ship as 12.) To check on the legal status of your state, check our current shipping list and winelaw.org.  (Note: when it says legal and license required, we probably aren't paying $50 to $300 for the license and filing monthly reports to send you a bottle of wine.)

You can E-mail the winemaker at winemaker@bonairwine.com or snail mail him at 500 S. Bonair Rd., Zillah, WA 98953. Fax him at (509) 829-6410 or phone him at (509) 829-6027.
