Employment Opportunities at
Bonair Winery
We are presently taking applications for the
following positions:
Tasting Room Customer Service Representative:
Bonair Winery is proud to be known as the friendliest winery in
the Yakima Valley. The successful candidate must be able to
transmit that enthusiasm to the customer. Being able to work
weekends is a must, since 80% of our sales are on weekends and
the regular staff gets priority shifts. A knowledge of wine is
useful, but not necessary. We will teach you about wine, but you
must be eager to learn. Anyone can pour wine at a corporate
winery but we require much more. Enthusiasm and customer service
are your greatest skills. We pay above average for tasting room
employees, but you earn it. Send Résumé to
Gail Puryear, Vigneron.
Crush Intern: Serious wanna-bees only.
You must be available from September 10 through November 1,
every day and every night with no exceptions. Weekends do not
exist in the wine business. We do not have housing, but can
accommodate RV parking or provide you with showers if you live
in a tent. This is a chance to really learn winemaking, but you
must be willing to commit. A week of intensive training is
involved and after that you are expected to know how to hook up
hoses and clean tanks. Starting salary is minimum wage during
the training period. Send letter of interest to
Gail
Puryear, Winemaker.
